The Acting for camera workshops are designed to explore the fundamental skills required for film and television acting and offer industry insight for adults with no experience as well as intermediate/advanced actors looking to brush up on their screen performance skills.
Two options are available: 2 Day workshops or a weekly acting class for 5 or 10 weeks.
There are three workshops available to students, with each one held over two days. Students will begin with the Intensive (Pt 1 and Pt 2) workshop then the Masterclass (Pt 1 and Pt 2) and finally the Extension workshop to further extend their skills and techniques.
To help students discover that great acting is about being simple, specific and in the moment.
To help students understand and apply objectives in performance.
To give students simple self-management skills that can help control nerves and the inner critic.
To help students explore through performance their unique vocal and physical personalities to communicate confidently and authentically on screen.
To give industry advice to maximise employment opportunities through agent representation, auditioning strategies and industry connections
Two consecutive days starting at at 10am and finishing at 4pm.
18 and over. Younger students may be accepted on a case by case basis, if existing children’s workshop dates are not convenient and the student has the emotional maturity to work with adults.
