Myles Pollard has 20 years experience in the acting industry. Myles’ acting classes are a totally unique approach to Acting lessons in Perth and regional areas.
A qualified High School English and drama teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Myles also holds a Bachelor of Performing Arts having graduated from the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).
In person’ ACTING workshops for teenagers and adults held during school holidays in Perth and regional areas. Available for both experienced and non experienced students.
All classes are taken by acting industry professional Myles Pollard. A qualified high school english and drama teacher, graduate of the National Institute of Performing Arts (NIDA), writer, director and producer, Myles Pollard has two decades of professional experience in the film and television industry.
The Acting for Camera workshops are designed to explore the fundamental skills required for film and television acting and offer industry insight to students with no experience as well as intermediate/advanced actors looking to brush up on their screen performance skills.
The content is appropriate for all skill and experience levels, encouraging creativity, confidence and sense of play.

These TWO DAY acting workshops explore the key components of film and television acting; specificity, being present, objectives and tools in performance, self-management skills to control nerves and an actors authentic, naturalistic voice.
The course will also endeavour to give students industry advice to maximise employment opportunities through agent representation, auditioning strategies and industry connections.
ACTING FOR CAMERA
Teenagers & Adults
Held over two days these workshops will give children the freedom to explore their performance creativity whilst developing the skills necessary to act in front of the camera confidently and authentically.
The workshops explore the key components of film and television acting with a focus around drama and games to encourage creativity, confidence and sense of play.
8 - 12 year olds
Private lessons can help elevate your acting to the next level. Technical processes, script analysis, scene/monologue choices and tangible industry advice may give you the advantage you need.
One on one private lessons with 20 year industry veteran Myles Pollard to help you prepare for:

This audition course aims to prepare students for an acting institution entrance audition such as NIDA, WAAPA and QUT.
It’s designed to equip students with the skills, the practice and the belief to ensure they have the best possible opportunity of success in this incredibly challenging process.
Whether it’s for NIDA, WAAPA, QUT or other acting institutions, the audition process is the same; tremendous competition for only very few positions.
